If you love caviar and don’t mind the fact that you’re dishing out lots on money for fish eggs then we’d like to introduce you to Almas caviar, the world’s most expensive caviar and it will set you back a fishy $25,000.00 per kilogram or $11,000.00 per pound or $700.00 per ounce.

Almas (Russian for diamond) caviar comes from the rare Beluga Sturgeon from the Caspian Sea, but not only is the fish rare, to make it into a tin of Almas caviar the roe has to come from one that is at least a 100 years old, in fact the older the fish gets the whiter the caviar gets.

If you do find yourself in possession of a tin of Almas caviar and don’t find the taste worth the price, there is one other upside, the tin the caviar came in is 24K gold.
