World's most expensive dirtNow, it may be easy to go out in your yard and scoop up a bucket of dirt, after all that stuff is everywhere, but all you’ll end up with is your every day, run of the mill dirt.

If you truly want to own some very special dirt that’s also the world’s most expensive dirt then be prepared to part with almost $100.00 for just a few ounces.

This dirt comes from the original Yankee Stadium and is sold by Beam Clay. The dirt was used during the last game that the Yankees played in Yankee Stadium on September 21, 2008, when they beat the Baltimore Orioles 7-3. After the dirt was collected it was then pressed into coins under the supervision of Steiner Sports Marketing to ensure that all dirt was authentic. The coins were placed into frames, along with a picture of old Yankee Stadium, and are currently being sold for $89.99.

The world’s most expensive postage stamp was recently sold at an auction in Geneva but the selling price as well as the buyer(s) were not disclosed. However, the last time the stamp was sold, back in 1996, it went for  a sticky $4.5 million USD.

"World's most expensive postage stamp"

The stamp is known as the Treskilling Yellow and was issued in Sweden in 1857 and is the only one known in existence.

It was issued while they were printing  the eight-skilling stamps, which are yellow but accidentally printed the three-skilling which should have been green.

In 1885 a Swedish schoolboy found the stamp and sold it for candy money.
