For the launch of the Barbie Basics Collection in Australia Mattel got together with jewelry designer Stefano Canturi to create a not so basic Barbie with a price tag of $540,870.00 USD.
Barbie by Canturi has a necklace adorned with 3 carats of white diamonds surrounding a 1 ct square emerald cut pink diamond. What would a Barbie be without a diamond ring? She also sports one of those.

oooh. The oddness of it all surprises me–who would wear a watch like that, and little girls play with Barbie dolls. If they are playing with that too roughly, isn’t it going to–*gasp!* shocker! …break? YES! It will! wowzys.
