World's Most Expensive ParkingDriving may be fun but parking can be a nightmare and a costly one at that. In fact, in some cities your monthly parking bill will cost you more than your payments on a really nice car.

If you find yourself having to park midtown and downtown Manhattan you can at least boast that you are paying the most expensive parking in the United States with midtown running you $538 a month and downtown rates a few dollars cheaper at $529 month.

Just in case  third place is OK with you then Boston would be your town at $425 a m0nth.

On the other hand, if paying the most expensive parking in the U.S. is not enough for you and you’d prefer the most expensive parking in the world then export your car across the pond and you can rent monthly stowage for a very wallet guzzling $933 USD per month.

Value added taxMany countries have are using a VAT (value added tax) to boost their revenue and basically VAT is a tax on the estimated market value added to a product or material at each stage of its manufacture or distribution.

Although we do not really see where these people that created this tax are adding any value, the reality is, if your country has one, you have to pay it.

If you live in or travel to Norway, Sweden or Denmark then congratulations, with every purchase you are paying the world’s highest sales tax as those countries decided that a 25% VAT is fair.
