World's most expensive braA brassiere (pronounced UK: /ˈbræzɪər/, US: /brəˈzɪər/; commonly referred to as a bra /ˈbrɑː/) is an article of clothing that covers, supports, and elevates certain fun parts.

Although bikini-like garments are depicted on some female athletes as late as 1400s BC, it wasn’t untill the late 1800s that manufacturers started experimenting with alternatives for the corset which had been popular since the 1500s.

On November 13, 1914, the newly formed U.S. patent category for “brassieres” was inaugurated but it wasn’t untill the 1930s that bras went into mass production.

Victoria’s Secret is one of the most famous lingerie retailers and in 2002 it offered a one of a kind creation from Mouawad’s called ‘Red Hot Fantasy’.

The bra sports over 1,300 stones, including 300 carats-worth of  Thai rubies surrounded by diamonds.

If you are looking for the world’s most expensive support for your fun parts be prepared to part with a titillating $15 million of your hard earned money.

World's most expensive metal

Rhodium (Rh) is a silvery-white, hard and chemically inert transition metal and a member of the platinum group. Rhodium was discovered in 1803 by William Hyde Wollaston.

World wide there are less than 10 Rhodium producing mines which makes the metal a 100 times rarer than gold. These mines are not exactly Rhodium mines but rather the Rhodium is a byproduct of platinum or nickel mining.

Roughly 25 tons of rhodium are mined each year. For reference there are 2,350 tons of gold and 220 tons of platinum mined each year. Add to that the fact that Rhodium has many uses, including as a finish for jewelry, and you can undestand why Rhodium is the world’s most expensive metal.

Currently Rhodium sells for $2,750.00/ounce.
