Phet and PloyWhen you have a lot of money and love cats you go out and buy a rare rare “diamond-eyed” cat, that’s what both Wichan Jaratarcha and Thai Bhat did.

When you have too much money you have a wedding for your rare “diamond-eyed” cats, that’s also what both Wichan Jaratarcha and Thai Bhat did.

The two cats, Phet and Ploy,  were married in September 1996 in matching pink outfits at a famous and largest discotheque in Thailand.

Wichan dished out $410,979.00 and Thai kicked in another $16,241.00 for the cost of the wedding which made it the world’s most expensive pet wedding ever.

Should the felines ever get divorced the catamony fees will probably set new records too.

David BeckhamSo, we are gonna cheat and copy & paste from Wikipedia

David Robert Joseph Beckham, OBE (born 2 May 1975) is an English footballer who currently plays in midfield for Milan in Serie A, on loan from Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy. He is also an established member of the England national team.

Twice runner-up for FIFA World Player of the Year and in 2004 the world’s highest-paid footballer, Beckham was the first British footballer to play 100 Champions League matches. He was Google’smost searched of all sports topics in both2003 and 2004. With such global recognition he has become an elite advertising brand and a top fashion icon. Beckham was captain of England from 15 November 2000 until the 2006 FIFA World Cup finals, during which he played 58 times. Since then he has continued to represent his country and earned his much-publicised hundredthcap for England against France on 26 March 2008. He is currently England’s most-capped outfield player with 115 appearances.

Beckham’scareer began when he signed a professional contract with Manchester United, making his first-team debut in 1992 aged 17. During his time there, United won the Premier League title six times, the FA Cup twice, and the UEFA Champions League in 1999. He left Manchester United to sign for Real Madrid in 2003, where he remained for four seasons, clinching the La Ligachampionship in his final season with the club.

In January 2007, it was announced that Beckham would leave Real Madrid and sign a five-year contract with Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy. Beckham’scontract withLos Angeles Galaxy became effective on 1 July 2007 and gave him the highest player salary in MLS history. His playing contract with Galaxy in 2007, 2008 and 2009 was worth$6.5m per year. He debuted for the team on 21 July 2007 in a friendly versus Chelsea at The Home Depot Center, and on 15 August, he had his first start with the team, scoring his first goal in the 2007 SuperLiga semi-final. His first league start then came on 18 August in front of a record crowd at Giants Stadium.

Beckham is married to former Spice Girl Victoria Beckham (née Adams). The couple have three sons and currently reside in Beverly Hills, California.

So, with a pedigree like that it’s no wonder his legs are insured for $70 million U.S. dollars, which has became the most expensive insurance policy in sports history.

Heidi KlumHeidi Klum was born in Germany but since she has come to America she has done it all. She has been a  model, actress, television host, business woman, fashion designer, television producer, artist, and occasional singer and on top of that she married English singer Seal.

So what was she insured for? Her legs, $1 million for her left leg and $1.2 million for her right leg, the difference, she has a a small mark on her left knee.

So when I was a kid I had paper bags full of hockey cards from the mid 70s to the late 80s but my mom threw them away. Looking at this list of the 5 most expensive hockey cards I now realize the money I lost and the pain my mom has caused me.

5) Bobby Hull, the Golden Jet,  is regarded as one of the greatest ice hockey players of all time and perhaps the greatest left winger to ever play the game.

In his career he played 1063 games, recorded 610 points and 560 assists for a total of 1,170 points. On top of that Hull spent 640 minutes in the penalty box.

His Topps #66 Rookie Card, rated PSA 8, sold for $13,000.00.

4) Georges Vezinawas a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender who played nine seasons in the National Hockey League (NHL), all with the Montreal Canadiens from the 1916–17 season to the 1924–25 season.

In 190 games he recorded 103 wins, 81 losses and 5 ties.  He finished his career with a 3.28 goals against average.

His 1911 Imperial Tobacco card, rated PSA 7 $13,200.00 is worth $13,200.00.

3) Gordie Howe, Mr. Hockey, a NHL legend, played in 5 different decades in the NHL.

During that time Howe played in 1767 games, scored 801 goals, recorded 1,049 assists and amassed 1,850 points as well as spending 1,685 minutes in the penalty box.

His 1954 Topps hockey card rated SGC 96 is also worth $13,200.00.

2) Bobby Orr,easily the greatest defenseman ever and possibly the greatest hockey player ever, save Wayne Gretzky.

Bobby spent 12 seasons in the NHL, 10 with the Boston Bruins Chicago and 2 with the Black Hawks during which time he played in 657 games, scored 270 goals, managed 645 assists and was sentenced to 953 penalty minutes.

Bobby Orr’s rookie card was issued by Topps (#35) in their 1966-67 set and a PSA 9 sold for $47,600.00

1) Wayne Gretzky, the Great One, the greatest player of all time, not much more needs to be said to justify his rookie card as being the most expensive hockey card in the world but we will still include his stats.

NHL career totals over 20 seasons: 1,487 games, 894 goals, 1,963 assists, 2,857 points,  577 penalty minutes, 208 playoff games, 122 playoff goals, 260 playoff assists, 382 playoff points, 10 Art Ross Trophies, 9 Hart Memorials,2 Conn Smythe Trophies, 5 Lester B. Pearson Trophies, 5 Lady Byng Memorials and 4 Stanley Cups.

And thats why his 1979 O-Pee-Chee rookie card, rated, BVG 9.5, sold for $50,000.00.

Mystery by Swizol InternationalIf you have a really expensive car then nothing but the world’s most expensive car wax will do, after all she’s your baby and needs pampering.

Now don’t worry, Swizol International has your back with their car wax called “Divine” and it will only set you back a shiny $2,800.00 USD.

If you’re wondering what is so special about Divine, well the wax seems to actually know the car it’s going to be applied to because it is specially made depending on the type of paint that is used and the color of the car. It also has essential oils infused into it so that the whole experience is rejuvenating for you and your car and there is nothing better than great feeling hands after giving your baby a great feeling waxing.

So you bought yourself a really, really expensive car but your driving skills are not quite up to par, don’t feel bad, there are worse drivers than you and here is some damage they produced.

5) On March 04, 2007 a UK man took his brother’s Bugatti Veyron out for a spin, literally. Damage: $1.6 million.

4) In 2003 some not so skilled driver took his 1959 Ferrari 250 GT TDF onto a track, the wall got the better of him and his car. Damage: $1.65 million.

3) This is just bad luck, not bad driving skills but a 1961 Ferrari 250 GT California Spyder ended up buried in the sand, the owner’s mistake, storing it near a beach just before a hurricane hit. Damage: $10 million.

2) After spending $28,500,000.00 on a Ferrari 250 GTO the owner took it onto the track in a event to show off historic cars. Unfortunately his driving skills were not up to par and when traffic slowed down he rear ended another car. Although the damage seems minimal, (see pic) the repair bill came in at a racy $28.5 million.

1) What happens if you back your Cadillac Escalade over a fire hydrant and hit a tree, usually not much, but if you’re Tiger Woods then it gets quite expensive, especially if your wife, Elin Nordegren, finds out you’re cheating on her and decides to file for a divorce. Damage: $55 million and counting.
